SirVendor (referred to as “SirVendor”, “I”, or “me”) operates the SirVendor website to showcase my freelance web and app development work. This policy explains what information I collect through the site, how I use it, who I share it with, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details: your name, email address, and anything else you include when you email me or fill in a contact form.
  • Project information: the details you share about your project — goals, requirements, references, budget and timeline.
  • Correspondence: the messages, files and notes we exchange while discussing or working on a project.

Project files & materials

If we work together, you may share materials such as brand assets, copy, or access to existing systems. I use these only to deliver your project, keep them confidential, and return or delete them on request.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & device data: basic analytics such as pages visited, referrer, browser and device type, used to understand traffic and improve the site.
  • Cookies for essential functions (like remembering your language and theme) and privacy-friendly analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

How I use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals.
  • To carry out and deliver the project work we agree on.
  • To send project updates and, if you ask, the occasional follow-up.
  • To operate, secure and improve this website.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

AI-assisted tools

I sometimes use AI-assisted development and productivity tools while building projects. I do not feed your confidential materials or personal data into public AI services without your agreement, and I never sell your information or use it to train third-party models.

How I share information

I do not sell your personal information. I share limited data only with the service providers that help me run the site and my business, under contract:

  • Hosting & infrastructure — to serve this website and store project files securely.
  • Analytics — privacy-friendly analytics to understand site traffic. No sensitive data is shared.
  • Email & invoicing — to correspond with you and process quotes, invoices and payments.

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect my rights and the safety of others.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Just email me at [email protected] and I’ll help. I won’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data retention

I keep enquiry and project information only as long as needed for our work together and for legal, accounting and tax purposes, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask me to delete your data at any time, subject to any records I’m legally required to keep.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I work hard to safeguard your data.

Children

This website and my services are intended for businesses and adults. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

International transfers

I work with clients and providers around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, I use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. I’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the site.
