3. Quotes, estimates and project work

• Any prices, ranges or figures shown on this site — including the cost calculator — are rough estimates for guidance only and are not a binding quote.
• A binding quote is provided in writing after I’ve scoped your project, and project work is governed by that written quote or proposal.
• Payment terms — such as a deposit to begin and a schedule for the balance — are set out in your quote. Work generally starts once the deposit is received.
• If the scope changes, the price and timeline may change; I’ll flag any significant change and agree it with you before doing the extra work.

4. No professional advice

The content on this website — including blog articles and calculators — is provided for general information only and is not professional, legal or financial advice. Cost estimates are approximate and not a quote. Always get advice specific to your situation before making decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or services, including by: using them unlawfully; interfering with their operation or security; attempting to reverse-engineer or scrape them; or reselling or exploiting them without permission.

6. Your content and materials

You keep ownership of the materials you share with me (such as text, images and brand assets). You grant me a limited licence to use them solely to prepare quotes and deliver your project, as described in my Privacy Policy.

This website — its content, design and branding — is owned by SirVendor and protected by law. Ownership of the deliverables I create for a project transfers to you once the project is paid for in full, as set out in your written agreement.

8. Third-party services

This website and my services rely on third parties — such as hosting, analytics, email and payment providers, and the platforms your project is built on. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

This website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SirVendor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of this website. Project work is covered by the separate written agreement for that project.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. I’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SirVendor is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
